Babolat Pure Strike 100 2019 Racquet Review

This is a racquet review of the new Babolat Pure Strike 100 (3rd generation) The Pure Strike series is for hard hitting players that is looking for power who at the same time doesn’t want to lose control, precision and spin like the world number 4, Dominic Thiem. The diffrences from the last generation is the new cool paint-job and they say it’s designed to deliver sharp control with exception feel for offensive performance players who want to hit hard with full confidence.

The Pure Strike feels really comfortable and stable with every shot in the book. Despite that I still had some problems controlling the power since I use kind off low powered racuqets.

• String Pattern: 16/19
• Beam Width: 21/23/21. Flex: 72 RA

Groundstrokes: It was really powerful, almost to powerful for my taste but I can see why people would enjoy it. I could offer me great spin and control on my forehand, on backhand not as much. When I tried hitting one-handed backhand the racquet almost turned it in to the most comfortable shot I’ve ever used. Click the video below to see me hit some nice strokes!

Volley: I can’t really tell you much about the volley since I didn’t notice much. I can tell that it felt stable thanks to the 100 sq.in head and I had no trouble at all hitting my targets.

Serve: I had the some issue as with my groundstrokes, it was to powerful. I kept serving saying to myself it has to work because the ball was either flying long or short. In my last training session I got it perfect, almost every serve went inside.
